This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Creation collects, holds, uses, and discloses your Personal Information and how we maintain the integrity and security of your Personal Information under applicable privacy laws. For the purpose of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to or that identifies, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identified or identifiable individual.

By submitting Personal Information to Creation, you confirm that you understand this Policy and agree to its terms.

We may modify this Policy at any time. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this site. Material changes will be conspicuously posted on this site or otherwise communicated to you.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The types of Personal Information we collect will depend on the nature of our interaction and/or relationship with you. Examples of the types of Personal Information that we collect include:

  • contact details (including name, address, title, place of employment, email, or phone number);
  • other demographic information such as age, gender, or interests;
  • employment details;
  • educational qualifications;

  • image capturing, such as phots taken at events, videos and CCTV footage

Direct collection


We may collect your Personal Information directly from you when you:

  • visit or create an account or profile on our website https://www.creationtech.com;
  • engage with communications from or to us;
  • inquire about any of our services or if you contact us about becoming a supplier;
  • access the features of our customer and supplier portals;
  • provide feedback on any of our services or website features;
  • apply for a job with us; or
  • engage with us on social media.

Indirect collection

We may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices or tablets) you use to access or interact with us. We may collect and analyze information such as (a) IP addresses, geolocation information, unique device identifiers, IMEI and TCP/IP address, and other information about your computer or device(s), browser types, browser language, operating system, mobile device carrier information, the state or country from which you interacted with us; and (b) information related to the ways in which you interact with our services, such as the URL of any websites you visited before or after visiting our website, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages and content viewed and the order of those pages, statistical information about the use of the services, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you used the services, the frequency of your use of the services, error logs, and other similar information.

There may also be occasions when we collect information about you indirectly from third parties or publicly available sources. Such third parties may include people or organizations who provide leads and marketing, promotional and data analysis services to us. We may combine this information with information we already have about you to help us understand trends, behavior, and use of our products.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use and disclose Personal Information for many purposes, including to:

  • provide you with information about our services or information that we think may interest you;
  • provide you with updates or materials relevant to your use of Creation websites and services;
  • facilitate business relationships, including fulfilling transactions with customers or suppliers;
  • address complaints;
  • assess a job applicant’s suitability for employment;
  • conduct market research;
  • deliver personalized offers and interest-based ads;
  • business planning;
  • research and development;
  • to allow you to collaborate on engagements, e.g. through customer and supplier portals;
  • to ensure that our content is presented in the most effective manner for you on your device;

  • to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

CHANGE OF USE

We will only use your Personal Information for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose.

Please note that we may process your Personal Information without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this required or permitted by law.

HOW WE MAY DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

Creation is a global provider of product design, manufacturing and other related services. Our business entities and departments may share information with each other for business purposes, such as internal administrative activities, marketing and sales, research and development, talent management. We are not in the business of selling, renting, or otherwise sharing information that reasonably identifies you with unaffiliated third parties for their independent use.

We may disclose your Personal Information to:

  • authorized third party service providers who carry on our functions and activities or who assist us to carry on our functions and activities;
  • organizations who are contracted by us to perform certain services, such as maintaining our websites, providing storage management services and providing software services that help us run our business effectively; or
  • parties to whom we are required by law to disclose information.
  • In addition, in the future, we may sell some or all of our assets. In such transactions, Personal Information may be one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a sale of our assets, Personal Information may be transferred to the buyer of those assets.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Creation is located in a number of different countries. As part of our internal administration, your Personal Information may be shared with one or more of our group companies in those countries. In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information to our third-party service providers who may be based in or have servers located outside of the country in which you live. When we disclose your Personal Information to international recipients, we make every reasonable effort to ensure data security and appropriate privacy practices are maintained by those overseas entities. We will only disclose your information to international entities where:

  • we have contracted with the entity to treat your Personal Information in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws; or
  • the entity is subject to comparable obligations to protect Personal Information as those in your country; or
  • you have given us your consent to disclose Personal Information.

UPDATING AND DELETING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may at any time make a request about the information that has been collected about you, and request us to update your information by contacting us at privacyofficer@creationtech.com. Where required to do so by law, we will use reasonable efforts to process any change you make; provided, however, that requests to view, change or delete information are subject to Creation’s internal reporting and data retention policies, and legal obligations.

HOW LONG WILL YOU USE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?  

We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, data-retention, accounting, or reporting requirements.

SECURITY

We have put in place technical and organizational security measures to prevent the loss or unauthorized access of your personal information. We train our employees in the proper handling of personal information. However, whilst we have used our best efforts to ensure the security of your data, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet. If you have reasons to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us at privacyofficer@creationtech.com.

ADDITIONAL RIGHTS – CANADA

In Canada, electronic communications are governed in part by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, effective as of July 1st, 2014, and its relevant rules and regulations (“CASL”). As it relates to anti-spam activities, CASL requires organizations, in their electronic communications with others, to comply with certain consent and informational requirements. Such electronic communications include newsletters, product updates, pricing information and promotional material. Creation is committed to making sure that it respects the law, as well as the choice of any third party, with respect to electronic communications. Where applicable, Creation will ask for your opt-in express consent to receive such electronic communications.
