Rodolfo Archbold, Director

Rodolfo is a Global Operations executive with over 30 years of experience, leading technology-oriented firms through accelerated expansion, as well as improving competitiveness in dynamic markets.

Currently Rodolfo is Vice President of Operations at Evergreensolar, where he leads the development and execution of worldwide manufacturing expansion strategy and oversees the company’s global manufacturing and supply chain organization.

Prior to joining Evergreensolar, Rodolfo served as an operations consultant at Teradyne, Inc., a $1.1 billion global leader in semiconductor test equipment, and at other leading electronics manufacturing firms. In this role, Rodolfo developed strategy and execution plans designed to improve global operations and supply chain, reducing manufacturing costs and increasing responsiveness across global supply chain networks.

Previously, he held executive roles at NYPRO, and at Manufacturers' Services Limited (now part of Celestica) where he established operations and technical infrastructure to enable rapid growth to $1.6 B and IPO in 6 years. Rodolfo holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, MBA from New York University, and completed advanced international management studies at INSEAD. Rodolfo and his family reside in Massachusetts, USA .

Michael Mazan, Director

Michael has 14 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and consulting. He was with TD Capital, Birch Hill's predecessor company, from 1999 to 2005. Previously, he was an Associate with Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on a variety of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions assignments. Prior to joining CSFB, Michael was the Director of Finance and Business Development for Rogers@Home, the Internet-over-cable venture of Canada's largest cable television company. Michael also spent three years with McKinsey & Company.

Michael received his M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as the gold medallist, and his B.Comm. from Carleton University in Ottawa where he also graduated as the gold medallist.

Geoff Reed, Chairman of the Board

Geoff Reed was one of four original founders of Creation Technologies. He served in the capacity of VP Finance from 1991-1996, as President from 1996-2002, as Creation’s CEO from 2003 to 2006 and as Chairman of the Board from January 2007 to present.

Geoff holds a Masters Degree in Accounting and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He also holds a Bachelor of Religious Education from Briercrest Bible College. Prior to his founding of Creation Technologies, Geoff worked as a Consultant and Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young.

David Samuel, Director

David has 15 years of experience in private equity, operations, consulting and investment banking. From 1999 to 2005, he was a Managing Director with Mosaic Venture Partners. David’s experience includes serving as President, Rogers High Speed Internet Access and working with McKinsey & Company and Morgan Stanley.

David received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and H.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.

Arthur Tymos, President & CEO and Director

As Creation’s President & CEO, Arthur’s passion around enriching lives is evident in Creation’s culture of entrepreneurship, integrity and respect. Arthur’s belief in innovation is central to Creation’s strategic vision, where differentiators such as Lean Thinking in Action and our responsive business unit model provide solutions designed to delight our customers.

Originally joining Creation’s Executive Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer in 2001, Arthur was promoted to President in 2002 and assumed the additional responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer in 2006. Arthur has over 28 years of leadership experience in an extensive range of leadership roles with emphasis on executive leadership, manufacturing, information technology, operations, marketing and finance.

An accomplished scholar, Arthur holds an Honours Diploma in Financial Management, is a Certified General Accountant and is also a graduate of Advanced Management Programs from the University of Southern California and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business. Long a believer in the importance of community involvement, Arthur is actively involved with multiple charitable organizations and activities.

Arthur Walker, Director

Arthur recently retired as Chairman, CEO of CamVec Corporation. His previous positions include: Chairman/CEO Vector Inc, Chairman/CEO Midnorthern Appliance Industries Corporation, President/COO Algonquin Mercantile Corporation, Chairman/CEO Dominion Citrus Ltd., Chairman/CEO Austin Health Care Corporation and President/COO Hardee Farms International Ltd.

Arthur is currently a Director of Calyx Corporation, Muir Cartage Limited, National Fast Freight Inc., Nesel Fast Freight Inc., NSR Resources Inc., Rand Malartic Mines Ltd and Lange Transportation and Storage Ltd. He serves as an advisor to AMJ Campbell Van Lines, Consumer Economic Opportunities Inc, Blue Bins Unlimited Inc and Manaca Corporation.

Arthur is also a Director of Southlake Regional Health Centre and a Director of Southlake Retirement Village Inc. He is Honorary Chairman of the North York General Hospital, Director of the North York General Hospital Crown Foundation and Chairman of a major segment of the North York General Hospital's current $35 million Capital Campaign.

Xiao Yan Zhu, Director

Xiao Yan has more than 20 years of professional experience working, consulting, managing and investing in companies that have business interests in the Chinese market.

Born and raised in China, Xiao Yan began her career at Beijing Jeep/Chrysler Corporation, one of the first major Chinese-American joint ventures. Formerly a partner with The JSC Group and President of Concord Pacific, Xiao Yan is today Managing Director of Shenlin Corporation, a Chinese-American joint venture with products distributed to the Chinese, North American and Japanese markets. Xiao Yan is also the Founder and President of CA International, LLC.

Xiao Yan received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiao Tong University and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
