Rodolfo Archbold, Director

Rodolfo is a Global Operations executive with over 30 years of experience leading technology-oriented firms through accelerated expansion and improving competitiveness across the product supply chain.

Most recently Rodolfo was Vice President of Operations at Evergreen Solar, where he was responsible for developing and executing a global expansion strategy. Rodolfo oversaw the build- out and start up of the first in the world solar panel factory based on Evergreen’s proprietary technology, enabling 300% revenue growth in less than one year.

Prior to joining Evergreen Solar, Rodolfo served as an operations advisor to Teradyne, Inc., a $1.1 billion global leader in semiconductor test equipment, and to other leading electronics manufacturing firms.

Previously, he held executive roles at NYPRO, and at Manufacturers' Services Limited (now part of Celestica) where he established operations and technical infrastructure to enable rapid growth.

Rodolfo holds an MBA from New York University, a BS in Chemical Engineering, and completed advanced international management studies at INSEAD. Rodolfo and his family reside in Massachusetts, USA.

Michael Mazan, Director

Michael has 14 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and consulting. He was with TD Capital, Birch Hill's predecessor company, from 1999 to 2005. Previously, he was an Associate with Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on a variety of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions assignments. Prior to joining CSFB, Michael was the Director of Finance and Business Development for Rogers@Home, the Internet-over-cable venture of Canada's largest cable television company. Michael also spent three years with McKinsey & Company.

Michael received his M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as the gold medallist, and his B.Comm. from Carleton University in Ottawa where he also graduated as the gold medallist.

Geoff Reed, Chairman of the Board

Geoff Reed was one of four original founders of Creation Technologies. He served in the capacity of VP Finance from 1991-1996, as President from 1996-2002, as Creation’s CEO from 2003 to 2006 and as Chairman of the Board from January 2007 to present.

Geoff holds a Masters Degree in Accounting and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He also holds a Bachelor of Religious Education from Briercrest Bible College. Prior to his founding of Creation Technologies, Geoff worked as a Consultant and Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young.

David Samuel, Director

David has 15 years of experience in private equity, operations, consulting and investment banking. From 1999 to 2005, he was a Managing Director with Mosaic Venture Partners. David’s experience includes serving as President, Rogers High Speed Internet Access and working with McKinsey & Company and Morgan Stanley.

David received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and H.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.

Arthur Walker, Director

Arthur Walker is a seasoned corporate executive whose multi-faceted career reflects senior involvement in many business sectors including transportation, commercial relocation services, financial services, plastic injection molding, minerals exploration, retail pharmacy operations, food and beverage processing, produce wholesaling, vegetable farming and livestock production, and other large scale corporate agri-business activities.

Arthur has served as Chairman /Chief Executive Officer /President of various Canadian public companies including CamVec Corporation, Vector Inc., AMJ Campbell Van Lines Inc., Algonquin Mercantile Corporation, Hardee Farms International Ltd., Dominion Citrus and Drugs Ltd., Austin Health Care Corporation, and Midnorthern Appliance Industries Corporation. He has also served as CEO, Chairman, and/or Director of many companies including Calyx Transportation Group Inc., Sound Insight Enterprises Ltd., Cerberus Pyrotronics Inc., Combined Developments Ltd., Kord Products (Canada) Ltd., Kord Erin Limited, Hardman Molded Plastics Ltd., Marwal Plastics Ltd., Holland River Gardens Ltd., Federal Farms Ltd., Valley View Dairies Ltd., Tintina Mines Ltd., NSR Resources Ltd., Rand Malartic Mines Ltd., Cangroves Inc., Produce Supply Frozen Foods Ltd., The Baxter Canning Co. Ltd., Freeze Dried Foods Ltd., and The Honeydew Beverage Corporation. In June 2009, he was re-appointed by Order in Council to serve a second term as Vice Chair and a Director of the Central Local Health Integration Network, a major devolutionary initiative of Ontario’s Ministry of Health.

In addition to serving on the Board for Creation, Arthur is also a Director of CEO America Inc. (Cdn & US Creditz digital currency and business intelligence system); and acts as Director/Advisor to other business enterprises.

Xiao Yan Zhu, Director

Xiao Yan has more than 20 years of professional experience working, consulting, managing and investing in companies that have business interests in the Chinese market.

Born and raised in China, Xiao Yan began her career at Beijing Jeep/Chrysler Corporation, one of the first major Chinese-American joint ventures. Formerly a partner with The JSC Group and President of Concord Pacific, Xiao Yan is today Managing Director of Shenlin Corporation, a Chinese-American joint venture with products distributed to the Chinese, North American and Japanese markets. Xiao Yan is also the Founder and President of CA International, LLC.

Xiao Yan received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiao Tong University and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
